Drs. Rich DiCicco and Lee Grossbard performed my surgery 4/22/08. I went to 2 other seminars and met a couple other surgeons. I found Grossbard and DiCicco to be VERY... actually the most informative and experienced. DiCicco really seems to have the caring attitude and great bed side manners. - Meredith.G
As part of our commitment to patient care and good clinical outcomes, we offer several patient education opportunities. Patient seminars are designed to give prospective patients the opportunity to learn more about obesity surgery options such as the LAP-BAND® System, REALIZE BAND®, or the ROSE Procedure and speak with our Surgeons and patients.
Patient support groups are primarily geared for patients who have already had obesity surgery, but can be attended by prospective patients as well. They provide a critical forum for patients to share experiences, have questions answered, gain encouragement from their peers, and most importantly provide ongoing education to our Gastric Band patients.
